Memorials Committee

Each week, there is a notation in the Sunday service bulletin regarding the Memorial Book which is displayed in the narthex.  Over the years, memorial gifts have been given to our church in memory of loved ones.  Each week the Memorial Book is open to pages listing gifts given and the donors.  If you would like to make a memorial gift, please contact our church's Memorial Committee through the church office.

Church Council

Church Council meets every second Tuesday, except during the summer.  Each chairperson or representative of the various committees of our church, including the minister. The Council considers issues that are brought forward for discussion from the various committees to fulfill the goals of the Church. .  Notes of each meeting are made available to members and any constituents who would like them.  The council also votes on and may approve issues brought before it.

Our meetings are the Second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the supervision and care of all physical property of the church, including the parsonage.   Some of the activities which the Board administers include maintenance, repairs, replacements, rental of Church facilities, and review of liability and casualty insurance.   As directed by the Charge Conference, the Board also may receive and administer grants, gifts, or bequests to be used for the benefit of the local church.

The Board of Trustees regularly meets on the first Monday of the month except during the summer months.  Its membership is divided into three classes with each trustee having a three year term.

Having identified areas of needed repair and maintenance, the Board of Trustees organizes "work days" throughout the year to enlist volunteers to help with labor, thus defraying overall cost.  Many tasks related to the on-going upkeep of church property are performed by dedicated friends and members of the church during these sessions as well as when an immediate need arises.   The Church family is very appreciative of those who volunteer their time and skills for the care of Church facilities.

Meetings are the first Mondays of each month.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee monitors revenue from members to see that funds are available to meet expenses of the church's programs. Toward the end of each year, the committee is responsible for developing a budget for the new year, and conducting a campaign to fund the new year's programs and general expenses.

Our church is proud to have paid 100% of our allocation to support our church conference, besides meeting all our local expenses for the past year 2002.

The Finance Committee meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., except during the summer months.  All church members are welcome to attend.
